When i signed up to take College English, I mostly hoped to just get my required English classes out of the way so that I wouldn't have to take them in college. But now that I'm actually in the class, I am hoping to learn to write a good paper. English as a whole is not one of my strong points; I am a math and science person. Writing is definately not my strong point; I really like numbers and concrete answers. So now I am hoping to come out of this class as a better writer. I hate to write, and I probably despise it so much because I'm not good at it. I seriously doubt that I will love writing after taking this class, but I do hope to dislike it a little less.

So I'm not really sure what all to write about on here. I've never done a blog before. So here it goes...

It's been a long day. We finally got lockers; I got a bottom one...and the door sticks. Not fun at all. We had band practice until 6:30 and miraculously got out only a few minutes late. I'm starting to get really excited about Friday's game. It's the first of the season, and the first time we will perform our show for a huge home crowd. I really hope we can win our first game. It will be a great way to start out my last year of watching high school football as a student.

Well, I'm headed off to bed 'cause I've got an early morning tomorrow. First time doing block schedule (College English, Physics, Calculus, and Band). Hope it goes well and no one goes crazy sitting for 90 minutes in the same class.
